What fun! A great list. I'm surprised at how many of these I have seen - but probably didn't appreciate fully. Two that I especially recommend are the Bay of Fundy (tides are absolutely amazing) and volcanic landscapes of the Canary Islands - especially Lanzarote.

It truly is fascinating--like Marilyn, many I've seen but did not know (geologically) what I was seeing (e.g., the Matterhorn--the beauty and symbolism of it isn't diminished by learning that it's a "classic 'horn'").

I too have seen many of these things, then again we go searching them out for vacations and side trips, being the geology nerds we are.
