Even with everything that's been happening in the world the last two months, nothing could have prepared me for the news I got this week that a friend of mine and ex co-worker at HAL was murdered in Bethesda on 3/11 at the store where she worked. I'm just in shock at the moment and can't imagine the suffering her family and close friends are going through. I pray something good comes out of this. What, I don't know, but I have to believe something will. My faith in humanity isn't really high right now.
