"Mommy!" I look over and Katherine wants to show me something she has in her hand. However, it was the 
way she said "Mommy" so forcefully and so full of confidence that made me realize that yes, I had indeed reached Mommy status. I know - I've birthed two children and for the last two years have definitely been a mom, but there's something totally life changing about being addressed like that from your child. She basically 
hit me square in the heart with that one. I melt even more when we are snuggling together in bed and she circles her arms around my neck, pulls me in, gives me kiss after kiss, and says "I love you". Mi escarabajito gives me his own awesome kisses and when he smiles he melts my heart, too.
